700ft Altitude granted.Propnuts - Willie McCool Memorial Model Air Park, has been granted a 700 foot altitude limit in accordance with the AMA having been granted a National Authorization allowing our members at AMA club sites in Class G airspace to operate above 400 feet above ground level (AGL) for routine, day-to-day activities.

Exciting upgrades:are underway at our RC Flying Field, enhancing the runway, pilot stations, and spectator areas to create a safer, more enjoyable experience for all members and visitors. In mid-June the runway and ramp at Willie McCool Regional Park were resurfaced and re-striped. This upgrade, performed by the North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Department, represents another step in promoting the park as a valuable resource to the community, as well as providing a functional, convenient venue for RC flying. Willie McCool Regional Park is home to the Propnuts of Las Vegas, and we encourage you to come visit us soon!

Members of the Propnuts of Las Vegas meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7PM. Meetings take place at the North Las Vegas Airport Community Room, 2730 Airport Dr, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. Check the calendar link above for meeting notices.
